Teacher Highlight – Anne Rolon

Meet Anne Rolon!

Anne is an assistant teacher in our toddler classroom, students aged 15 to 36 months. She joined the Grace Montessori staff in June 2024 with more than 20 years of experience in early childhood education. A softspoken, patient and humble teacher, Anne is passionate about working with children and helping them through their learning journey.

Since joining the GMS team, the Montessori method has inspired Anne. She loves to see how the prepared classroom helps students improve their confidence, foster friendships, and build enthusiasm for gaining knowledge. Every day, she observes her students become independent problem solvers while developing the skills to work well with their peers.

Anne’s favorite part of GMS is the classroom surroundings. “The environment is more like a family. Everyone looks out for each other and takes care of each other, whether it’s the staff or the students,” she said.

As a teacher of young students, Anne is always proud of her students when they successfully use the bathroom. Seeing children come to school confident about their ability to use the toilet and then being excited when they are successful is a significant milestone.

We asked Anne what lesson or advice she hopes to leave with her students. She said, “Be kind! Always be kind and humble and open-minded.”

In Anne’s free time, she spends time teaching her daughter about the world.
